Jan L. Cooper MBA, CPA, CGMA

Jan Cooper is a Senior Functional Oracle Applications Consultant and President of Niveus Consulting LLC. Ms. Cooper has over 35 years of solid accounting experience and over 20 years of Oracle EBS full life cycle hands-on experience, which includes implementing, upgrading and system support of Oracle Releases 9.0  through Release 12.2.9.

Jan has strong multi-org and multi-currency experience and has completed several global implementations involving Secondary Ledgers, Subledger Accounting (SLA), Global Accounting Engine, and NLS functionality. She is 30% technical with a solid understanding of the underlying application tables and data process flows.

Jan Cooper has given over 20 presentations throughout the nation on various Oracle applications topics including most recently Oracle Approvals Management (AME), Subledger Accounting (SLA), multi-org, workflow and effective implementation strategies.

Ms. Cooper has authored articles for various publications including "Multi-Org Made Easy", OAUG INSIGHT and "Financial Software Implementation Needn't be a Nightmare for Your Clients", Insight, The Magazine of the Illinois CPA Society. Ms. Cooper has also written the chapters on Multi-Org and Workflow for the 1st Edition of the Macmillan Computer Publishing "QUE" series book Special Edition: Using Oracle Applications.

Jan has been an active member of the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the North Central Oracle Applications Users Group (NCOAUG), the American Institute Of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society (ILCPAS).

She is a Licensed and Registered Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Based in Chicago, Ms. Cooper is available to travel to client sites around the world as well as provide remote consulting, based on the client needs.
